Final double page spread
This is the final draft of my double page spread. I maintained the main colour scheme throughout of orange and tealy blue, so that the magazine is consistent and you can tell the through the theme what magazine it belongs too. With the images for this, I did not want it too look too overly posed to reflect the kind of artist I want the magazine to be reviewing, so that it links with my reader profile and target audience. I took the main image on the left hand side on the beach, and the smaller right hand images at the bottom in my back garden. The image above that was just in my house. The only one that is a posed image is the main one, I wanted the other ones to be casual and almost as though she was unaware that the pictures were being taken. I think they work well in contrasting with the formal layout of the page and formal text.
Final front cover
This is the final print screen of the front cover to my music magazine. I ended up making a lot of changes in comparison to my original draft.
I removed the grey gradient background I originally had and decided to keep it white, because of the outfit I had chosen my model to wear and the colour schemes of my fonts and font background blocks it made the overall page look too busy, so I decided to keep it plain white however I don't think it looks too plain due to the other images used and bright colours as well as the patterned coat. I also think that using plain white can look very sophisticated and is seen in music magazines often, including the likes of Rolling Stone and NME.
I added photographs onto my front cover which I was never sure about doing because I think it can make it look too much, however I think that it worked well. I used a picture of the model for 'Enzia Darko' that I originally planned to use on the contents page; some photographs that I took when I went to a previous festival (Lounge on The Farm 2010) under my summer festival guide cover line and I used a picture from my lomography 35mm film pictures that I used to create the album cover for The Pilots, however I used a different one so that the images were not seen as repetitive. I also added the font for The Cure, which I previously said why in my final contents page analysis.

Final Contents page
This is the final outcome of my contents page.
I added a feature of tour dates down the right hand side and to make it look more professional I used the correct fonts for each of the artists, which is something I think would be seen in a real magazine. I made another album cover for an artist 'Frank Beleni' using old pictures of my younger sibling because through analysis and research of other indie album covers I've noticed the reoccurance of old looking photographs of people who are not associated with the artist neccesarily, an example being Vampire Weekends - Contra and Vampire Weekends self titled name Vampire Weekend, where there are the pictures of a blonde woman and also one of a chandelier which are taken in a lomography style.
I also added a feature about the Turner Contempory Art Gallery in Margate, which I visited because it has a heavy feature on music from the 70s, 80s and even 90s. Also I stated in my reader profile that the kind of audience my magazine would be intended to attract would be someone who has not only an interest in music but in the arts and photography, so I thought this feature would be appropriate as a feature in the magazine. I included a picture of an istallation of home made T Shirts with slogans on that are representitive of the period of music.
