This is the final print screen of the front cover to my music magazine. I ended up making a lot of changes in comparison to my original draft.
I removed the grey gradient background I originally had and decided to keep it white, because of the outfit I had chosen my model to wear and the colour schemes of my fonts and font background blocks it made the overall page look too busy, so I decided to keep it plain white however I don't think it looks too plain due to the other images used and bright colours as well as the patterned coat. I also think that using plain white can look very sophisticated and is seen in music magazines often, including the likes of Rolling Stone and NME.
I added photographs onto my front cover which I was never sure about doing because I think it can make it look too much, however I think that it worked well. I used a picture of the model for 'Enzia Darko' that I originally planned to use on the contents page; some photographs that I took when I went to a previous festival (Lounge on The Farm 2010) under my summer festival guide cover line and I used a picture from my lomography 35mm film pictures that I used to create the album cover for The Pilots, however I used a different one so that the images were not seen as repetitive. I also added the font for The Cure, which I previously said why in my final contents page analysis.
